Dr. Lindsay is a International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.

As one of the only Chiropractor/IBCLCs in Arkansas, Dr. Lindsay provides mothers and babies specialized chiropractic care developed to promote the breastfeeding relationship and address breastfeeding issues.

So why is chiropractic beneficial for breastfeeding moms and babies?

In order to breastfeed, your baby coordinates the use of the 22 bones of their skull comprising 34 joints, along with 60 voluntary and involuntary muscles under the control of six of their 12 cranial nerves.

Chiropractic removes the interference to the babies nervous system allowing their body to coordinate the intricate balance it requires to be able to suck and swallow effectively.

Chiropractic for babies also aids in digestion, sleep, and head control.

Dr. Lindsay recommends all post partum moms and newborns get checked by a chiropractor!

For moms and babies having breastfeeding issues - what ways can chiropractic help me?

  • Difficulty with suck/swallow pattern (baby coughing or choking on milk, baby spitting up during feedings, etc.)
